Oh, hey, race week.
Monday: 8 miles with striders, ran the first 7 with a friend then did the strides solo and met back up with her for coffee. Taught Pilates in the evening.
Tuesday: Easy 6 with my friend, taught Pilates after.
Wednesday: Race week progression run, which I snookered my friend into doing on her one non-stroller day. 8 miles with 3 w/u; 3 mi at 7:20, 7:10, 6:37; 2 c/d. Had to hold back in the beginning. Let it rip a little at the end. Got a massage in the afternoon then taught Pilates.
Thursday: 4 miles, first 1k with Morgan. 2 mile doggie walk later. Taught Pilates in the evening.
Friday: Easy 6 with my friend + coffee. Jasyoga in the evening.
Saturday: Flew to Chicago in the morning. Dropped our bags at the hotel and then went to the expo. It wasn’t a big as I expected. I mean, the space was big, but I didn’t feel like there was that much to see. 15 min shakeout run around lunchtime. Laid all my stuff out in the evening and went to bed right after dinner. Slept great for a few hours and then just started waking up once an hour.
Sunday: Chicago Marathon! Race report coming soon. Official time 2:59:26, 94th female (unofficial results; I was 96th right after the race), 872 overall.

Congratulations on your marathon! And yes, I looked you up on the results on Sunday and were so happy you went sub-3. I hope you are having a good recovery and can’t wait to read the recap of the race.
